Lots of new comics coming in this week! We're the most excited for THE DIRE DAYS OF WILLOWWEEP MANOR, book that will be our new Kids Club selection, but was so funny that ALL of adult staff here loved and laughed. On the periodicals side, BERMUDA looks pretty good, and getting a last taste of Grant Morrison on DC is always good with SUPERMAN & THE AUTHORITY. Comics are arriving late this week to most of the Bay Area, so maybe call first before you start the trip to be sure we actually have them -- DC comics currently show as being in New Mexico with no scheduled delivery date (!), and the Diamond shipment indicates Wednesday delivery, and we'll need a bit of time to work the shipment before they're up for sale. Hopefully all ready by 1p, but let's see what UPS brings us!

BUT, it's a nice big week of funny books, so when they finally come you've got many great things this week! DC's next big crossover event dealie kicks off this week with INFINITE FRONTIER, Marvel gives us their MARVELS VOICES PRIDE anthology, and let's give it up for Todd McFarlane and his launching SPAWN UNIVERSE twenty-nine years of the main title! The first week of comics of our 33rd year in business is a nice week of comic-y goodness! The lead book is probably GEIGER from Geoff Johns & Gary Frank, but lots of folks are excited about Boom!'s MAGIC THE GATHERING comic, and who doesn't want a return to Evan Dorkin & Sarah Dyer's BEASTS OF BURDEN? Plus, finally back in print for the first time since 1986 (but without Alan Moore's name on it, for some reason?) is the amazing comics deconstruction masterpiece IN PICTOPIA.
