Wednesday is our favorite day! Big week, too, but as of this writing we have yet to receive our DC comics (thanks FedEx and the wider Supply Chain Issues!), so let's see what is on hand when the day arrives. Go look behind the cut…. What looks good to YOU?

This week's Periodical is clearly Ed Piskor's RED ROOM, while on the Book side we are thrilled for WE LIVE (June's Comix Experience Graphic Novel Club selection!); plus WONDER GIRL has a good deal of buzz. And that's just the tip of the spear this week with the full shaft under the cut below….. what looks good to YOU?

Smaller week of new releases, but a nice mix of books. Things that look interesting to us are TIME BEFORE TIME, HOUSE OF LOST HORIZONS and JUNKYCABLE, but we'd love to hear what you're looking forward to this week from the list below the cut!

It's a swell week for the funnybooks! The big winner this wek is Alison Bechdel's THE SECRET TO SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH (Also our Graphic Novel Club selection for June), while we're anticipating THE GOOD ASIAN and HEY KIDS, COMICS! But there's a tonnnnn of stuff below that cut... what looks good to YOU?

Another fantastic week of comics, led by the second "Reckless" book FRIEND OF THE DEVIL. We also like the looks of 20 FISTS and HELM GREYCASTLE, but that's just the tip of a mighty big iceberg! The full list is below the cut.... what looks good to YOU?

Yay comics! Kinda excited about Ben Sears' YOUNG SHADOW (which is also May's Kids Graphic Novel of the Month selection!), and ooh, LOVESICKNESS from Junji Ito. On the comic book side, have a thrill from OLD GUARD: TALES THROUGH TIME and, hm ALICE IN LEATHERLAND looks interesting too. Many and more below the cut, what looks good to YOU?

This week is a special week because we've finally got what is likely the Book of the Year: Barry Windsor-Smith's MONSTERS (watch our interview with Mr. Windsor-Smith on Sunday 4/18 at 10 am PST here: https://youtu.be/yY6HwW1bQYE). Also looking pretty great is LOCKE & KEY SANDMAN HELL & GONE #1 and HOME #1. So much other great stuff too, under the cut -- what looks good to YOU?

The first week of comics of our 33rd year in business is a nice week of comic-y goodness! The lead book is probably GEIGER from Geoff Johns & Gary Frank, but lots of folks are excited about Boom!'s MAGIC THE GATHERING comic, and who doesn't want a return to Evan Dorkin & Sarah Dyer's BEASTS OF BURDEN? Plus, finally back in print for the first time since 1986 (but without Alan Moore's name on it, for some reason?) is the amazing comics deconstruction masterpiece IN PICTOPIA. Sooooo much more below the jump... what looks good to YOU?

Another Wednesday of cool comics, yay! The standouts to us look like WITCHBLOOD, SHADECRAFT, and the fourteen years in the making end of KORGI, but there's a lot of great stuff below the cut -- what looks good to YOU?

There's a ton of things arriving this week, but few brand new issue #1 periodicals. But that makes it super easy to name DELICATES by Brenna Thummler our pick of the week, her follow up to the incredible SHEETS. Or maybe you want to read Gene Luen Yang who starts his run on BATMAN SUPERMAN with a super classic take on the characters. Or you want something artsy? RED ROCK BABY CANDY by Shira Spector is the clear choice. So so so much more below the cut.... what looks good to YOU??

Even small weeks of comics have gems -- by far the thing we're most excited by is James Stokoe's ORPHAN & FIVE BEASTS, with a close second to James Herren's ULTRAMEGA. That not enough? How about Mirka Andolfo's EROS/PSYCHE? Very much more under the cut, but tell us what looks good to YOU??

Diverse new week of books! The lead story would look to be a new Grant Morrison joint with PROCTOR VALLEY ROAD, but Guillem March's KARMEN looks neat, and we're adoring the Global Citizen GN line which has a new release with WHAT UNITES US from Dan Rather and company, and, ooh! Mariko Tamaki and Gurihiru doing THOR / LOKI DOUBLE TROUBLE? Yes, please! So so so much more below the cut... what looks good to YOU?

A small but mighty week -- Kindt, Keanu and Garney launch BRZRKR, while Snyder and Daniels launch NOCTERRA, but the real gem might be MIKE MIGNOLA QUARANTINE SKETCHBOOK HC, filled with so much crazy nice art he generated in lockdown, plus all the profit goes to charity! There's even more shipping this week, go look under the cut... what looks good to YOU?

Due to the Winter storms impacting national shipping logistics we're genuinely not sure when this week's comics will actually arrive -- as of Monday AM at 10:30 PST, our weekly shipment hasn't even been picked up yet, which would usually signify a Thursday-at-the-earliest New Comics Day (NCD), but there's not a lot of hard evidence of what this week will bring for sure! It is possible that we might even recieve nothing this week and a double shipment next week -- your guess is as good as ours! Your local comic store (including us!) still has bills and staff to pay, so maybe figure out a way to give them your patronage even when we don't have the NCD shipment.

This week our #1 recommendation is the "Master Edition" of FROM HELL, now in full color. Absolutely anyone loving comics should have this in thier library. For new periodical comics, take a look at CHASING THE DRAGON, STRAY DOGS, and MARVEL VOICES: LEGACY. But there is SO much else hidden down behind the cut! So what looks good to YOU?
