Brian Hibbs

Bio:

Born in Boone County, Missouri, pre-teen years spent in Brooklyn, New York, Brian still somehow vainly believes that he's actually a San Franciscan. Must be the hair. Brian opened Comix Experience at the ridiculously young age of 21, on April Fool's Day, 1989. Brian lives with his luscious wife, Tzipora, and his son, Ben, in sunny Noe Valley.

Brian's Ten Fave Series:

  1. Mage
  2. Swamp Thing (Alan Moore's)
  3. Sandman
  4. Grendel
  5. Preacher
  6. Astro City
  7. Planetary
  8. Hate
  9. Milk and Cheese/Dork
  10. Cerebus

Rob Bennett

Bio:

Rob has been in this "profession" for far too long. And, at this point, he has pretty much seen it all. He’s basically committed to the "long-haul" as he’s been disillusioned by previous failed attempts at a glorious career ("Lumberjack" and "Road House Bouncer" not having quite worked out). Never one to mince words, Rob has sometimes been called callous and abrasive by an ignorant, unwashed few. Despite his loud and often outspoken demeanor, his brutal honesty and straight-forward directness should be considered a refreshing change of pace in this world of slick con-artists and hustlers.

Rob’s Top Ten:

  1. Hellboy
  2. Grendel
  3. 300
  4. Preacher
  5. Berlin
  6. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
  7. Sandman Mystery Theatre
  8. JSA
  9. Rising Stars
  10. Kabuki

Sue Riddle

Bio:

Sue Riddle is a native-born San Franciscan who has been reading comics off and on since she was little (and only read comics with girl superheroes in them). She has worked part-time at CE for several years, and suspects she was hired because the bathroom needed cleaning.

Jeff Lester

Bio:

Jeff Lester is a native Californian who’s clocked about 14 years, on and off, in San Francisco and has been a fan of comix since before he could read. Because he’s designing the website, he gets to cheat (he's also too lazy to find and scan a picture). He currently works Fridays at Comix Experience.
