Welcome back, my friends, to the show
that never ends.
I thought I could do it, I really did.
I even told Jeff, “No, you’ll have it... um, tonight probably”, then
I said it again and again and again, and now it is Monday, and I haven’t
even written ONE word.
Between having to proof the galley
for Tilting at Windmills (Feb032018, go order one from your local
comic shop NOW!), putting together Onomatopoeia, and trying to get the
order form done, I don’t even know what day it is. And tomorrow is new
comics day. Plus I have an appointment with a doctor to help me stop
smoking....
So, no actual reviews except the main
categories down at the bottom of the page. Sorry. I swear to god I’ll
have a real one up next week!

Note, that in most cases this is limited to 1) Manga, which I try to
read as it is collected; 2) “Kids” comics like most of the Archies;
3) titles that were subs-only, either by design or accident [this can
include being shorted by Diamond as well]; 4) Porno [oh, like you need
me to REVIEW it!], 5) Things that looked SO bad on the racks that I
didn’t bother, and 6) stuff that I’ve assessed before, and I care so

This Week’s TP recommendation is:
Two Simon Bisely books (One I am unequivocal about loving – Slaine
– and one I just like the art on – Fist Full of Blood), and the
collection of the excellent, and under-rated The Hood... but
this week everything else pales before the madness that is Shade,
the Changing Man. Go buy three copies so Bob Wayne can be convinced
to continue reprinting the rest of the series!
